ABOUT ME

Ryan Grainger, a Montreal native, is a Los Angeles based creative director, choreographer and dancer currently signed to United Talent Agency (UTA). Ryan has over a decade of professional experience, working regularly with many of the industry's top international artists and world renowned productions. After a brief professional run in Montreal, his career took off in 2014, upon moving to the United States. Since then, he has built a long list of credits, traveling the world touring, choreographing, creative directing and performing in live shows, music videos, commercials, as well as TV and Feature Film productions. 

 

Television and Film Credits include: Julie and the Phantoms (Netflix), RuPaul's Drag Race (VH1/MTV), Soundtrack (Netflix), Lucifer (WB), Sandy Wexler (Netflix) , Glee (Fox), American Crime Story: People vs O.J. Simpson (FX), The Voice (NBC), Boyband (ABC), Cirque Du Soleil, Teen Choice Awards , MTV Video Music Awards, Much Music Video Awards, D&G Milan Fashion Show, Let’s Make a Deal (CBS) & Vidcon.  

Major recording Artist Tours, Live, & Music video Performances Include: Ricky Martin (One World Tour), Meghan Trainor, Rita Ora, Jessie J, One Republic , Paris Hilton, Gwen Stefani, Luis Fonsi, RuPaul, Daddy Yankee, Maluma, Down With Webster, Patrick Bruel, Betty Who, Amei (Utopia World Tour) & Leroy Sanchez.

Ryan served as the assistant choreographer alongside director and choreographer Jamal Sims and RuPaul Charles for the ongoing Las Vegas residency, "RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!" Following the success of this residency, Ryan has choreographed two world tours and one Canadian tour under the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise. In 2022 and 2023, Ryan assumed the role of choreographer for the international World Tour, "RuPaul's Drag Race Werq The World," which featured two complete versions with over 80 shows across Europe, Asia, Australia, the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Additionally, Ryan had the privilege of serving as the choreographer for Canada's Drag Race Season 2 Tour, which traversed across Canada during the summer of 2022. 

Ryan has served as the Creative Director for two consecutive seasons of the international talent competition show, "Pequeños Gigantes," broadcasted on the networks Televisa and Univision. His adept creative direction contributed significantly to the success of this globally recognized program. More recently, Ryan assumed the role of Creative Director for the new reality TV show, "Mi Famoso Y Yo," which was also featured on the networks Televisa and Univision. In the world of artistic direction, Ryan has worked diligently to guide performances with a blend of creativity and precision. His collaborative efforts have involved working alongside esteemed artists, aiming to enhance the visual and emotional impact of each presentation.
